Home made pasta is probably the best way to serve dinner to any size family, but not everyone has the time to make pasta, sauce, and the best homemade pasta dinner. The marcatopasta brand of pasta makers will take the complication from creating your own homemade noodles.
The Marcato Atlas 150 is probably one of the more popular choices of marcatopasta products. This pasta maker makes different types of pasta, to include spaghetti noodlesi, alfredo noodles, lasagna noodles, ravioli noodles, fettuccine, capellini, tortelli, tortellini, tortelloni noodles and other noodles that you may want to make pasta with.
Here are some facts about the types of pasta and how they can be adapted for different gastronomic occasions.
Heart-shaped Ravioli courtesy of Mahalo's Ravioli Page-http://www.mahalo.com/ravioli
Pasta made by stuffing and sealing a filling of choice between two short, thick strips of pasta dough ( strips such as these can be cut from a flattened sheet of dough passed through the Marcato’s atlas 150 rollers)
The word ravioli originates from the term riavvolgere which means “to wrap”. Ravioli can be adapted creatively to commemorate a particular occasion. For example, you could stuff your wife or girlfriend’s favourite filling in between two heart-shaped strips of dough you could cut out simply by pressing a heart-shaped mold into flatten dough strips. You could then place the filling between the two “heart” layers and make nice, small pinches repeatedly around to create a beautifully edged seal for the filling. If you are thinking of conjuring a nice pasta meal to impress your dates for Valentine’s dinner or planning a delightful meal for a wedding anniversary this is one approach to consider.

It is a fine, egg pasta that complements well with creamy sauces (see widget on right entitled Recipes). If you are in the mood for creamy, cheesy pasta, have it made with tagliolini. See widget on right entitled Recipes for a delicious recipe for Tagliolini.
